Site News - 27th March 2013 - All new Retro Core 4 is now online over at YouTube and the official site.  Volume 7 takes a look at Super Aleste for the SFC, Steeldom on the Saturn and how modern versions of retro 2D games always have really awful image filters.

4th February 2013 - Recently I've been very lucky to receive many XRGBmini Framemeister units.  You maybe wondering what a XRGBmini Framemeister is, well it's the latest in the Micomsoft XRGB series of up-scan converters designed for gamers.  Basically it's a very cool little box that converts your classic game consoles video image in to something that look amazing on a modern HD television.  As we all know, classic consoles look awful on modern screens since they were designed to be played on CRT screens with scanlines.  The XRGBmini can change all of this.  I'll have a feature ready for the site in the future but for now why not check out the latest Retro Core which takes an in-depth look at the system.

I'm also selling the amazing XRGBmini for 39'800 yen (includes shipping to Europe, North American, Canada and Australia) That may sound expensive but it is actually only slightly more than the Japanese RRP and it does include shipping.  For more info feel free to mail me at

3rd February 2013 - Just a quick update this week to let you all know that the 4th Volume of Retro Core 4 is now online at YouTube and the official site.  Some good stuff in this show being Tryrush Deppy on the Saturn, Knight Arms on the Sharp X68000 and the really poor arcade game, Kabuki Z by Taito.

30th October 2012 - I've recently come across a few new Mega Drive games that will be added to the site soon.  Surprisingly one of them is Rambo III.  Quite  a common game yet one that I've never played before.  What do I think of it?  Well, you'll be able to find out once I add the Mega Drive reviews to the site next week.  For now though why not check out the latest volume of Retro Core?  See it on YouTube, the official site or streaming in the box over to the right.  In this show I show you some of the debug options in Geist Force as well as a side by side look of 360 NiGHTS and the Saturn original plus loads more stuff including Shite of the Show.

13th October 2012 - Finally I've added Geist Force to the Segagaga Domain!  It's taken me almost 4 weeks to get off my arse and add it to the site but I'm sure you'll agree that the wait was worth it.  Check out info on the game, cover scans, videos in HD and high quality game screen grabs all over at the Geist Force page.

17th September 2012 - There's been one game that I always wanted.  It was a game I had on pre-order before the Dreamcast was even released.  There I was waiting in line outside a Japanese game store with my place ticket for a Dreamcast and VF3tb.  That wasn't the game I wanted though.  The game I wanted was Geist Force.

6th September 2012 - Yet again no new updates but rest assured that something VERY SPECIAL will be coming to Retro Core in the next week or so.  For now though the new volume of Retro Core has hit the internet.
