Segagaga Domain is NOT a review site (even though I do leave my comments about each game I own) but rather a database of my own personal collection of Sega software and hardware that I'd like to share with you.

The Segagaga Domain Store is now open for you

Site NEWS January 1st  2012 - Bloody Hell, an update to the main site!  Happy New Year!!

Some of you may think that I've vanished but nope, I'm still pretty much involved in the games life.  My show, Retro Core has recently started a new series with Retro Core 3.  You can view it on the official site and on YouTube.  Both have high definition versions of the show as well as standard definition however the videos on the official site are of superior sound and video quality due to YouTube compressing all of their videos.

The Segagaga Domain Store is still going strong as well.  so if you're into Saturn please check it out.  Some new additions recently were added including some pretty rare titles.

And finally on to the main site.  Well, two new Saturn games are added in the shape of Marvel Super Heroes VS Street Fighter 4MB RAM set and F1 Live Information as well as new updated scans of Disc World, DX Jinsei Game Satakore and Pia Carrot he Youkoso!!  I've also added a new Mega Drive game, Uchuu Senkan Gomora or Space Battleship Gomora to give it an English translation.

ENJOY !

SITE NEWS ARCHIVE

October 23rd  2011 - I'm still alive as is the site .  Don't let the lack of updates think the site is done for.  The Segagaga Domain Store has been doing good business and has just been updated with a load of new Sega Saturn titles.

Retro Core SS is going strong as well with volume 23 just being uploaded to YouTube and the Official Site in 480p and 720p versions.

September 9th  2011 - Wow, it's been almost 2 month since the last update.  Don't worry, Segagaga Domain is still alive with many updates still to come.

Have you checked out the Segagaga Domain Store recently?  There are over 700 new Saturn titles added in the last week. all at fantastic prices.  Be sure to buy soon before all the deals are gone.

Retro Core SS Volumes 16 and 17 are out now taking a look at Mizubaku Adventure and Gekirindan.

July 3rd  2011 - Sorry for the lack of updates.  I've recently upgraded to a new modern PC from the single core relic I was using.  Of course upgrading brings many headaches.  The biggest being my video capture card.  My old one doesn't like Windows 7 at all.  I've tried a few replacements but so far no luck.  Two had poor drivers, another was dead.  So I've got the 4th on order now.

Anyway, I finally found Windows 7 64bit drivers for my Epson all in one system so I've finally been able to get some scans done.  This week sees 9 lovely Saturn sample discs added to the site - Daytona USA - Gekitotu Koshien - Goiken Muyou Anarchy in the NIPPON - Prikura Daisakusen Suiko Enbu Fuuun Saiki - Sega Rally - Touge King The Spirits 2 - Vampire Hunter and Victory Goal.

June 12th  2011 - Could it be true?  An update to the hardware section?  Yes, it's true.  The following Saturn hardware that's been sitting around here for months on end has finally been added to the site - Sankyo FF Pachinko Controller - Twin Sticks - Virtua Cop Gun Set and Virtua Stick.  I've also fixed all the missing link pictures in the hardware section.  There were an awful lot of Dreamcast hardware pictures missing.

The Saturn section gets a few new additions as well this week in the shape of Gunbird Sample - Street Fighter Zero 2 Sample and as with most Capcom sample discs, this has quite a few differences from the retail game.  Check out the link to see them.  Also added is Masters Harukanaru Augusta 3 and brand new scans with spine cards for Puyo Puyo 2 and X-Men Children of the Atom.

Fans of the Movie vault may like to know that there are two new videos of the Carrier Beta for Dreamcast being an extended video showing really early stage 2 areas and a timed beta. Also one video for Street Fighter Zero 2 Sample for Saturn.

May 30th  2011 - It's been another busy few weeks here in Japan resulting in a lack of site updates but not to worry because this week there's a few nice goodies for Saturn fans.  A new Tec Saturn Tushin disc has been added to the site and what a packed disc it is.  Also, loads of new Saturn videos have been added to the Movie Vault  - Gekka Mugentan ToricoM.S. Gundam Side Story 2 - M.S. Gundam Side Story 3 and M.S. Gundam Side Story The Blue Destiny Bonus Disc.

The latest volume of Retro Core SS is out now on YouTube and the official site.  This week Retro Core takes a look at Shinrei Jusatsushi Taroumaru.

The Segagaga Domain Store has just received a shipment of cool shooters including DoDonpachi, Soukyugurentai Otokuyo, Game Tengoku Limited Edition and Shienryu as well as many others.  New action game additions include Akumajo Dracula X and World Heroes Perfect.

May 15th  2011 - Oh do I have something special for you this week.  For the first time ever on the net I bring you images and videos of Delisoba Deluxe for the Sega Saturn.  What is this game you may be wondering.  Well, it's only the rarest and most expensive Saturn game out there (excluding any betas but even they haven't fetched as much as this game has).  Also for Sega Saturn I've added Gekkamugentan Torico, MS Gundam Side Store 1 CD case version and Sangokushi Eiketsuden Premium Pack.

Staying with Saturn there's also new videos for Delisoba Deluxe, Find Love, Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball and Guardian Heroes.  Dreamcast fans will also be happy to know that videos of Carrier Beta and Shenmue 0.400 Beta have been uploaded to the Dreamcast section of the Movie Vault.

The latest volume of Retro Core SS is out now on YouTube and the official site.  This week Retro Core takes a look at Delisoba Deluxe.

April 30th  2011 - Have you been keeping up with the Retro Core SS volumes?  Volume 8 has just been uploaded to the official site and YouTube.  I do recommend the official site version if image and sound quality are your thing.  If you to watch the show at YouTube, please feel free to give it a nice thumbs up !

New games added to the site this week include Sonic Jam Satakore version and all new scans for Lupin III - The Master Files replacing the nasty sun faded copy I had.

April 17th  2011 - Pretty small update this week with only Angelique Duet Premium Box being added.  Well worth a look though to see the beautiful item that comes in the box.

April 10th  2011 - Well, it's been a very busy time over the last few weeks so updates have been a bit thin on the ground as you've probably noticed.  Well, that's all going to change today with 5 new additions to the Saturn section and 2 new Saturn movies.  So what has actually been added?  Game wise we have Battle Cos-Player Original Genga Shuu Sample Disc - Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball - Sega Saturn FDD Operator - Victory Goal and finally Zenkoku Seifuku Bishoujo Grand Prix Find Love, what a long title!

New video are Battle Cos-Players Special Sample Disc and Victory Goal.

The Segagaga Domain Store is doing well.  A big thank you to all our customers.  We need more customers though.  I want to add many big name games but I can't do that without more custom.  Would you like to but all those great Saturn shooters at reasonable prices?  I bet you would.  That's the goal so let's make it happen.

Retro Core Volume 6 is now out on YouTube as well as the official Retro Core home page.  Be sure to check it out.

March 15th  2011 - Just a quick bit of news today to let everyone know that all is fine in this part of Japan where I live.  We were not effected by the earth quakes or tsunami at all.  It really is hard to believe that I'm living in the same country as these awful natural disasters.  A big thanks goes out to everyone who wrote to ask if my family and I were safe.  Thank you!

The 3rd volume of the new Retro Core SS is out now.  Take a look at it over at the official Retro Core page or on YouTube.  The video quality is  a lot better on the official Retro Core site mind you.

March 6th  2011 - This week sees over 70 new items added to the Segagaga Domain Store.  Please take a look by clicking the link above.  New to the site this week are the following Saturn movies - Heim WALTZHonkaku 4Jin Uchi Geinoujin Taikyoku Maajan - Honkaku Pro Mahjong Tetsuman Special - Ippatsu Gyakuten - Kaitei Dasiensou - Mahjong Tenshi Angel Lips and Playboy Karaoke - Volume 2

February 26th  2011 - It's been a very busy week here at Segagaga Domain.  First up, the store is now on line!  Buy all your Saturn games at Japanese store retail prices!  Also buy in confidence knowing that your goods will be in great condition.  Take a trip over to the Segagaga Domain Store by clicking on the link above.

As you may have read last week, Retro Core is now back in action for good or at least until I become swamped over with real life duties.  The second volume of the show is now out on YouTube and the official Retro Core site.  I do recommend the official Retro Core site versions of the show if quality is your thing.  It seems that no matter what format you upload videos to YouTube in, they'll always re-encode them which doesn't help with video quality.

February 21st  2011 - Retro Core is back on your screen as Retro Core SS.  The new format runs between 10 to 15 minutes per show and will be available at YouTube or the official Retro Core site.  Why host the show on both sites?  Well, YouTube still lower the quality of videos even if they are uploaded as flash.  While the YouTube versions are still nice the files hosted on my site will look and sound better.

Two new updates to the Saturn section this week with Command & Conquer and Playboy Karaoke Vol:2 making an appearance as well as an update to the 6 inch my Darling page.  I recently came across another copy of the game complete with trading cards.  These have been added to the page.

Next Week the all new Segagaga Domain Store will go live offering you Saturn games at Japanese game store cost prices!  Keep an eye on this page for future announcements!

February 5th  2011 - After receiving more mails than I can remember about the Segagaga Domain Store I've decided to bring it back although it will mainly be aimed towards the Saturn. This time it will b done right with a real order form, a shopping basket and mail list.  I plan to sell Saturn games for some great prices.  Games such as Layer Section for 500 yen or Gradius Deluxe Pack for 1000 yen (Please use www.xe.com to convert currencies)?  Or how about some Dead or Alive action for 1000 yen?  Yes, I'll be aiming to sell games at Japanese cost price!  How about that?  Not only will the store be stocking action titles but also many of those Japanese adventure games, RPGs and love sims that you've always be curious about but never wanted to spend great deals of money on.  Keep an eye on this page for more news on the future store.

If news of the store wasn't enough, Retro Core is making a come back!  Oh yes.  Unlike the old format the new Retro Core will be a YouTube show as well as hosted on the official Retro Core page.  The new format will focus on 1 title showing you the actual packing and game footage.  Unfortunately for some the new show is titled Retro Core SS.  Expect the first show to be released around mid February.

So, finally we get on to this weeks updates.  No new game additions but I do have a few new Saturn movies which are AnEarth Fantasy Stories - Aqua Zone Desktop Life - Option Disc Series 1 - Aqua Zone Desktop Life - Option Disc Series 5 - Beach de Reach! - Dai Bouken - Dream Square - El-Hazard - Eiseimeijin - Girls In Motion Volume.1 - Gekiretsu Pachinkers - Game no Tatsujin - Game no Tatsujin 2 and Game no Tetsujin The Shanghai.

January 30th  2011 - After my little complaint about how finding Saturn games that I need for a good price becoming difficult I came across a few on Yahoo Auctions.  Looks like it was a week for good deals.  So for your viewing pleasure I've added some of them to the site this week -  Aqua Zone Option Disc Series 4 - Mahjong Tenshi Angel Lips - Real Sound Kaze no Regret Sample and Tech Saturn Tuushin Special CD-ROM Autumn 1995.

January 16th  2011 - There comes a time in a collectors quest for that ultimate full collection when all that seems to be left are mahjong and crap like that for silly over the top prices.  That's where I am right now.  With 1126 official Japanese Sega Saturn games in my collection it's becoming harder and harder to find the games I need for a good price.  I don't know why but I feel ripped off buying some Mahjong or Pachinko game for a few thousand yen.  Maybe because I can't get any enjoyment out of such titles.

Anyway, I have managed to get 1 new title this week for a reasonable price, it's Next King Special Edition.  Check it out in the Saturn section.  Also this week I have a few more Saturn movies for you - NHL Power Play '96 - No-appointment Gals Olympos - Ronde - Room Mate Ryoko Inue - Roommate - Ryoko in Summer Vacation - - Roommate 3 - Ryouko Kaze no Kagayaku Asa ni - Radiant Silvergun and Sakamoto Ryuma -Ishin Kaikoku-.

January  9th  2011 - It's that time of the week again when you can sit back and watch a new Segagaga Domain update.  This week sees 14 new Saturn movies added to the site - Rainbow Town - Rampo - Rayman - Real Sound Kaze no Regret - Revolution X - Riglord Saga - Riglord Saga 2 - Rise of the Robots 2 - Riven the Sequel to Myst - Road Rash - Robo Pit - Rockman 8 - Rockman X3 and Rockman X4.

January  1st  2011 - HAPPY NEW YEAR ! to all Segagaga Domain followers.  And to kick of this new year I've added 3 more Satakore titles to the Saturn section, being Falcom Classics - Tetris S and Thunder Force V.  Plus there's 14 new additions to the Saturn movie vault.  Popitto Hebereke - Prikura Daisakusen - Princess Crown - Princess Maker 2 - Pro Yakyu Team Mo Tsukuro! - Pup Breeder - Puzzle Bobble 2X - Puzzle Bobble 3 - Pyon Pyon Karuru No Mahjong Biyori - Quantum Gate I - Quiz Nanairo Dreams of Rainbow Town - Quovadis and Quovadis 2 which has a fantastic anime intro that I recommend you watch.

December 26th  2010 - Oh wow, these Naomi updates just keep on coming.  This week sees Akatsuki Blitzkampf Ausf Achse and Gundam - Renpou vs Zeon both being added to the site.  Plus a lovely selection of 12 Saturn movies added to the Movie Vault which include Pachinko Hall Shinso Dai Kaiten - Panzer Dragoon II Zwei - Pander Dragoon III Azel - Gokujou Parodius-Da! Deluxe Pack - Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius Forever With Me - Sexy Parodius - Pebble Beach Golf Links - Pia Carrot e Yokoso!! - Pia Carrot Youkoso !! 2 - Picture Flash Dondon - Pinball Graffiti and the biggest heap of crap ever to call it's self a shooter, Planet Joker.

December 18th  2010 - The new Naomi section gets an update this week with Slash Out.  Head on over to that page to learn more about the game and see it in action.  Remember that all videos on Segagaga Domain are taken from real hardware.  No emulation crap here.   I'm also happy to say that the update of the Saturn sections to the new cleaner format is finally complete.  Now to start on the Dreamcast section.

This week also sees a whole host of new Saturn videos added to the site - Panzer Dragoon - Sokyugurentai - Soukyugurentai Otokuyo - Sotsugyou: Crossworld - Sotsugyou II: Neo Generation - Sotsugyou III Wedding Bell - Sound Qube - Sound Novel Trskuru 2 - Space Invaders - Stakes Winner - Stakes Winner 2 - Star Fighter 3000 - The Star Bowling and The Star Bowling Vol:2.

December 5th  2010 - It sure has been a while since the last update, sorry about that.  You can blame Bizarre Creations for making such a fantastic Bond game.  I've been glued to my 360 playing 007 Blood Stone every spare minute I got.  I have no idea why people rated it poorly.  Even the racing sections kick arse!

Anyway, the wait was worth it.  This week sees a brand new section dedicated to the Sega Naomi added to the site.  Here you'll be able to see videos of my Naomi games in action as well as reading about the hardware and what you need to get a Naomi up and running in your very own home! I'll also be starting a Naomi store if there are enough people interested.  Feel free to mail me on that.

As well as the new Naomi section I've also updated the Saturn P and Q sections to the new cleaner format as well as fixing a few errors here and there.

November 14  2010 - More Saturn videos this week for your enjoyment plus I've moved Kingdom GP to the "S" section to have it filed under the true Japanese title of Shippuu Mahou Daisakusen.  I've also updated many errors in the Saturn "N" and "O" sections as well as updating them to the new format.

So, let's get on with this weeks new Saturn movie updates - Shippuu Mahou Daisakusen - Shoryu Sangokuengi - Shusse Mahjong Daisettai - Shutokou Battle '97 - Shutsudo! Mini Skirt Police - Side Pocket 2 - Side Pocket 3 and Silhouette Mirage.

November 1st  2010 - Saturn fans are again in for a treat with 1 new game addition and 20 yes, TWENTY new movie additions this week.  So what is the new game addition?  Some cool action title?  Unfortunately not, it's a Shogi game called Taikyoku Shogi Kiwame 2, but still, a new addition none the less.  This weeks movies include - Pitagraph - Saturn Electronic Book Operator - Saturn Photo Operator - Shadow of the Tusk - Shell Shock - Shienryu - Shining Force III Scenario 1 - Shining Force III Scenario 2 - Shining Force III Scenario 3 - Shining the Holly Ark - Shining Wisdom - Shingata Kururinpa! - Shin Megami Tensei - Shin Megami Tensei 2 - Shin Megami Tensei Akuma Zensho - Shin Megami Tensei Akuma Zensho Dainishuu - Shinsetsu Yume Miyakata - Shin Shinobi Den - Shin Theme Park and Shiroki Majo.

October 24th  2010 - New movies added this week for Saturn fans plus the Tokimeki Memorial Special Pack has been added to the main section.  I've also updated the "M" section to the new format and fixed many errors.  So, on to the new movie additions.  This week sees the additions of updated movies for Sangokushi V and Sega Touring Cars plus all new videos for Salamander Deluxe Pack - Saturn Bomberman - Saturn Bomberman Fight - Sea Bass Fishing1 - Sea Bass Fishing 2 - Sega Rally Championship Plus and Sega Saturn Internet.
