JRA stands for Japan Racing Association just incase you couldn't work that out and if you still aren't too sure what that is then it's basically the Japanese horse racing group.  So, anyway what we have here is pretty much a fancy paper weight these days.  This disc was originally used to allow you to bet on any horse race in Japan from the comfort of your own home via the Dreamcast.  It was quite a simple system really.  You first sign up to receive your login and password then enter your payment details then place your bets.  There's more on the disc than just a betting service mind you such as a guide to betting, information on horses that take part in the JRA races including Video footage of them in action and various stats.

Now the strange thing about this disc is that it doesn't say who made it however it does have Sega's logo on the front but the catalogue number isn't one of Sega's since theirs always start with HDR not the letter T.  The spines also don't carry the Dreamcast logo which is very odd.  It probably is made by Sega though to be honest.  Still it's very cheaply made.  The images used for the title screen and a few others look awful plus EVERY sound effect used within this disc are all straight from the Dreamcast bios screen!

Makes you wonder why this gets a colour printed disc yet big release titles don't.
