Better known as The Game of Life in the west, Jinsei Game comes to the Dreamcast curtsies of Takara.  Now, there's not a lot you can really say about this game as far as playability goes to be honest.  Basically what you'd expect from a computer version of a board game is what you get.  Nice colourful 3D worlds coupled with humorous 2D clips that represent the space you land on.

One really sad thing about the Dreamcast version of Jinsei Game is the resolution it runs in.  It's as if Takara have not even bothered at all.  Apart from the more solid polygon models and improved textures in the 3D areas you could easily mistake this for the Sega Saturn version.  In fact I wouldn't be surprised if that's what this is.  A tarted up Sega Saturn port with a few updates here and there.

Anyway, Jinsei Game is a decent effort of bringing the board game to the TV but in all honestly I think you'd have more fun playing the real thing unless you have no mates.  In which case the Dreamcast version is perfect for you since the CPU can control all the other players.
