Izumo ranks as one of my all time favorite presented adventure game for the Dreamcast.  It just oozes atmosphere so much that you'll have to mop it up with that box of tissues next to you (Yeah, we know why they're there.) Not only is Izumo a lovely game to look at and listen to but it's also quite funny (If you can understand Japanese) not to mention endless panty and breast shots as well, hence the 18 age rating on the cover.

Izumo is described as a RPG on the case in which I guess it can be but I think a better description would be Adventure RPG since the bulk of the game features pretty picture with text overlaid on them.  The actual RPG areas are all in 3D.  Don't get too excited though.  The view point is from an overhead prospective and the actual characters are tinny.  Sort of super deformed in a away.  Still, it is quite tastefully done and you do have the option of using the L & R buttons to rotate the areas so as not to have your view blocked by anything.

This version I have comes in a card slip case as shown above.  The actual CD case has the exact same images on it.  Inside the card slip case should be a character telephone card but some bastard stole mine so I'm afraid I can show you a scan of it.
