There’s been a murder in a private high school (most likely) which of course has some strangeness to it. Come on, it’s a Japanese adventure game. They can’t just have straight forward murder now, can they? Besides, if it was straight forward it wouldn’t be much fun for the school’s students to suddenly become fully fledged detectives, hahaha. As you can tell, I’m being sarcastic. It amazes me how the main plot of these games never changes. It’s just like the other games I guess where your woman has been kidnapped by the bad guy so you have to set out to get her back.

Anyway, Konohana True Report is actually one of the better adventure games out there. The whole presentation is pretty nice, especially for an early DC game. Good use of FMV and graphical effects make it quite pretty. The actual art used within the game also sets the mood along with the BGM. However unless you can speak Japanese you probably won’t be getting too far in to this title just like all the others. On the other hand, if you can speak Japanese you will actually get quite a kick out of playing this one.

The game also comes with one trading card.  Just my luck to get the guy (-_-)
