After the mighty Soul Calibur Dreamcast fans were waiting for the news of
Namco’s next big Dreamcast release. Many wanted it to be a new Tekken game
(why I don’t know since Tekken is cack) while others dreamed of a new
exciting 3D game. So what did Namco give it’s Dreamcast fans? That’s
right, Mr. Driller (-_-) What a let down ! Still, at least Mr. Driller is
a good game for it’s type even if it isn’t what 99% of the fans wanted. The aim of Mr. Driller is to burrow your way underground within the time limit to reach the goal. You must avoid falling object as well as get oxygen to keep you alive. Sounds too simple doesn’t it? Well, that’s because it is. There is a puzzle element though which will enable you to clear more debris to make room for yourself. Sort of like an upside down Tetris if you will. Overall Mr. Driller is a nice enough action puzzle game which does deserve a place in your collection. |
