Better known as 90 Minutes in Europe this was Sega's last footy game for our beloved Dreamcast which actually came out in Europe first in October 2001 while this Japanese release wasn't released until February 2002.  The Japanese version features all the Japanese league teams as you'd expect from the game's title as well as international team but guess what ?  They only have European teams (^v^) now I wonder why that is ....hmmmmm.  Looks like Sega couldn't be bothered adding a real international section and just stuck with the European 90 Minutes version of the game.

Graphically this is quite a nice game with detailed stadiums and crowds.  Even the players all look different.  One nice touch is that teams actually have the real players (from 2001 / 2002) which adds that little bit to the commentary.  It's just a shame that the players don't actually look that much like their real life counterparts.

Overall J. League Spectacle Soccer is a pretty good football game with loads of different modes of play that will keep the hardened football fan busy for a very long time.
