There are a number of differences between this and the final release. First up and most noticeable is the shitty PS2 style jaggies everywhere and the nasty PSX Ridge Racer Type 4 mesh effect over everything. Luckily these were removed from the final release. Audio is also slightly out of sync on this version as well as being different in terms of stereo effects and music. Subtitles are also different. They are much bigger in this version. Oh, and the ASCII Logo in the trial version is different from the final release. As for play mechanics I'd say they are pretty close to each other if not the same.
