F1 World Grand Prix II for Dreamcast is defiantly an improvement over the original with far more realistic visuals and tighter controls but just like the original it still suffers from slowdown.  Now, slowdown in a racing game is totally unacceptable where as in a shooter it would be acceptable and may even help you out of a sticky spot.  To the games defense, it does have quite a lot of stats available for viewing in the gallery mode.  So all F1 fans should be happy there.  There are also a few modes of control available.  I play in Arcade mode but there is also Real Mode (Normal) and Real Mode (Hard) to choose from.

Overall F1 World Grand Prix II is probably the best F1 game for the Dreamcast but don't expect the greatest F1 game ever by any means.  I'm not really a fan of F1 racers so I found this game becoming dull in no time what so ever.  I'd only really advise fans of the gender to buy this one.
