This is a wonderful game if interactive animations are your thing.
Konami have opted for a type of adventure game rather than the standard
push a direction on the control pad type of game. Dancing Blade
plays just like every other Japanese adventure game but uses real
animation instead of stills and text. The quality of the FMV is very
high indeed. Sometimes you can be forgiven for thinking you are
watching a DVD. The story is what you'd expect from anime. Big
breasted girls with super powers set out to save the world from invaders
who also have super powers of course. Throw in a few rob suits, a
guy who has a crush on the main character and the obligatory "big" soft
hearted guy and you have yourself a scenario for a great adventure (^o^).
I
really like this game due to the various different routes that can be
taken as well as the comedy value. If you can understand Japanese
well I'm sure you'll get a kick out of watching/playing this game.
Even if you can't speak Japanese but a fan of anime, I'm sure you'll enjoy
it anyway since it's so well put together.
Dancing Blade's instruction book is very interesting indeed. It's
layout is that of a Japanese teenager's magazine.
