Take Momo and her friends on a wacky adventure in this very impressive
interactive animation from Konami. The game is pretty basic as far as
playability is concerned. Basically all you have to do is watch the anime
then decided what to do at certain points throughout the game by selecting
different text commands. Make sure to choose wisely though because it is
possible to meet a dead end giving you that dreaded “Game Over” screen.
There are a total of 4 paths through out the game taking you on different
adventures. Each being based on one of the characters in the game.
I’m sure that many of you will be replaying the adventure where Mono gets
tied up in the closet or the one where all women are in the Onsen (Hot
Spring) This is almost bordering on hentai. Dancing Blade offers many “Easter eggs” that will keep you coming back many times after completing the game. One of my favorites is the ability to watch your adventure as a real anime complete with eye catchers just like on Japanese TV. The video quality of Dancing Blade is very nice indeed. Just like the second game, this one also looks close to DVD quality at times. The only problem is that the game won’t run on a VGA monitor unless you force it to. Then there’s another problem. If you do force this game to play on a VGA monitor by using an action replay or something, then all the red sections on the animation look quite blocky and messy. So I guess those who play their Dreamcast’s in VGA like myself will have to shift their systems over to the TV to play this game or better still buy another DC and have one set up under the TV and one by the PC just like me (^v^) |
